CLAS 104

Classical Mythology

A study of Greco-Roman mythology and legend, with special emphasis on the Olympian gods and the figure of the hero. Topics may include myths of creation, the rise of the gods, divine myths, the tales surrounding the cities of Troy, Mycenae and Thebes and the heroes Herakles, Perseus and Theseus.

I had Prof. Andrew Faulkner. Loved this class. Lectures and material were very interesting - you won't want to miss any classes. You must do the readings though (preferably before each class). 3 easy multiple choice exams (30%, 30%, 40%). No final or assignments.

Super easy... only attended first two lectures and skipped the rest due to conflict in my schedule. Studied just one day for each of the exams. Ended up with 87 in the course.

Super easy class. The answers are pretty obvious.

^Oops the 40% was the final. My bad. Also, there is a lot of material covered but most of them are just stories.
