Design, Systems and Society

Pretty much an arts course, taught by an arts professor. First 10 minutes involve a social contemplation, followed by 70 minutes of lecture about historical inventions and how they affect the society, and where the society is going with inventions, etc. No textbooks, but an article is posted online before every lecture. There are 2 midterms but no final. Additionally, there is 1 tutorial every week, which involves a 40-50 minute group assignment.

Change professors every term. My professor was an engineering Phd student. Had an arbitrary marking strategy. Could go well or badly.
