MATH 115

Linear Algebra for Engineers

Linear equations, matrices and determinants. Introduction to vector spaces. Eigenvalues and diagonalization. Applications. Complex numbers.

Usually taught by grad students. Midterm and final, assignment style varies. Overall a fun course, but I would prefer MATH 146.

This course may seem extremely abstract, but the midterm and final are actually pretty fair. creating the proofs are always the hardest. oh, and do the homework before attending tutorials. always helps

Its not easy. A lot of theoretical teaching and proofs. You have to work hard at it, but you can do well if you try!
