EARTH 281

Geological Impacts on Human Health

The importance of geology to health. This includes examining the effects of volcanic gases and dust and other aerosols; tracing the sources and impacts of metals and other naturally occurring geological materials in the Earth's hydrosphere and crust; geology and the bioaccumulation of metals; and distinguishing natural versus anthropogenic processes on the geochemical distribution of toxic material in the near-surface environment.

I took this class with Sean Frapp and it was sooo easy. There are a couple assignments that are either worth 10% or 15% your choice. My advice is to make them worth 10% because the final is so so so easy, you could probably get perfect on it.

VERY easy course, not much work, you don't even have to show up too often. The group project is fairly simple, the assignments are easy, the final hardly takes any studying. Easy to get 85%+ with hardly any effort.
