D'Elia is a fantastic prof, but this is one of the harder art history courses. The slide tests are okay, except you have a couple unknowns on them (not in text book or lecture) So you just have to guess the artist and the work based on their style and nothing else. You're given a lot of freedom with the essay, but she does mark it relatively hard. The final exam is 3 essays, but you are given a list of 12 essay prompts before hand, 5 of which will be on the exam and you pick three. Overall, the course was really interesting, and if you buckle down and study you can do really really well in it. You also don't have to do any of the readings.
