Introduction to Classical Studies

An introduction to Greek and Roman civilization, focusing on six key aspects of the discipline of classical studies: history, literature, philosophy, myth and religion, art and architecture, and classical archaeology.

Took it with Prof. Ager, she was a really friendly prof and managed to keep things interesting. Two midterms worth 30% and a final worth 40%. All tests weren't cumulative. Even the final exam was not cumulative, half was multiple choice from the last 1/3 of the course and the other half was an essay question. She even gave us two questions beforehand and told us that one of them would be the essay question on the exam, so you get to plan out your points ahead of time. Managed to get a 94% by setting time aside to study for the tests. Other than that, there is minimal work to do during throughout the course. Just attend the lectures, take good notes and you're guaranteed at least 80+
